WHAT'S COVERED IN THE COURSE?


Over the 10 weeks we will introduce you to the 1st level of Wing Chun Kung Fu.



The foundations of Wing Chun, Stance, Punching, Stepping, Blocking, How to hold the pads and how to train with your partner.

We will also cover the 1st form known as Sil Lim Tao.  

You'll develop sharper reflexes and improve your cardiovascular fitness and stamina.

Wing Chun Kung Fu is designed for all fitness levels and allow you to develop mental and physical strength.

 

You will also be able to learn core concepts of two person drills such as deflecting attacks, moving opponents and using both hands offensively.


Each week we will cover the key foundations of Wing Chun and build upon the previous lessons taught.

RUN THE INTRO?

Saturday 12pm -1pm. 
Joondalup ECU Fitness & Gym.
Class limit 20 students


You can also attend the general classes held on Thursday and Saturday afternoons to gain additional skills and confidence.

WHAT IS WING CHUN?

WING CHUN is a simplified form of Kung Fu Self-Defense.
It's is a conceptual based Martial Arts that relies on scientific principles and Human Motions

.
Delivered in a Simple, Direct and efficient way.

WHAT IS KUNG FU?

KUNG FU  is the term given to a martial arts style which derives from China. 
There are many styles of Kung Fu similar to the many dialects.
Some styles of Kung Fu are hard and others soft.
Wing Chun Kung fu is predominately a fighting system of martial arts which has it's roots in Foshan, China.
Many styles of Kung Fu derive their movements from animals for example dragon, tiger, snake.
Wing Chun Kung Fu doesn’t follow this trend.
In fact Wing Chun in simple terms is based on the biomechanics of the human body.
That way its principles are far easier to understand and grasp compared to other forms of Kung Fu.
